Our story

Since Shenandoah was founded in 1965, it has served as a safe, fun, and wonderful community for its residents. At the beginning, we were a small community with only a few residences. Since then, we’ve grown in scale and style, and are so happy to welcome everyone into our little corner of Richmond.

Our goal

As a community association, our goal is to serve our community by maintaining our shared spaces, engaging our local neighbors with fun events and exciting activities, and be friends to those around us.

  • Membership & Digital Media

Sean and his family moved to Shenandoah in 2021, and have been happy to call this community home ever since. Sean can often be found working on a house project in his side yard, walking the dog with his wife Morgan and their son, or cooking pizza in his backyard. Say hey, he'll probably invite you over for a slice!

  • Grounds Manager

Nick has lived in Shenandoah since grade school, and happily returned to the neighborhood with his family in 2016. Since then, he and his wife have welcomed their first child, Jack, into the world, and have loved settling back into the Shenandoah groove.
